Home Sweet Home :)
Leaving Florida was scary, a new town , new place and no clue to where I was going. In Florida I meet my soul mate, got married and had my children. Thanks Florida for all the joys you gave me, now it’s time to give Louisiana a spin.
From the moment I drove into Folsom; I felt like I was home. This is such a sweet town and so is everyone one in it! Southern hospitality is big out here, and my family feels very welcomed. I did expect to love it here as much as I do but it defiantly Home Sweet Home. The kids love the outdoors! It’s like going on an never ending camping trip. ;) We have a creek in our backyard with tons of fish and many animal to discover. Including my lest favorite the snakes but I just run inside if I see one. ;) The kids were excited the 1st day of school and came home very happy. They are fitting in better than they did in St. cloud.
We’ve only been here 2 months but I do loving it here move very day. :) I’m unpacked and looking forward to the each day. Tonight is open house at Folsom Elementary, so wish me luck. :) My angel guided me to a sweet town with sweet people. I am so grateful Lord, we had a lot of bad days last year. Losing our business and our home was so heartbreaking, it feels good to finally have good days again. Thanks God! :)

Change Is Good ;)
:) I had to think positive about our move to Louisiana! I was heart broken. Change is not easy, but I do have 5 children. They need to feel secure about this move. So the adventure begins and yes it was scary but my never left Florida kids were excited. LOL :) I did cry leaving my perfect townhouse and perfect little town, which I waited forever to move too. It was a moment of weakness, but my angel was there to help once more. :( We said goodbye and it was Louisiana or bust. So the adventure begins, Big Red and a big rental truck hit the road! Then we stopped to pee, then the dog needed to pee, then the kids needed to pee………. I took us all day and night to get to Pensacola, Fl. Oh I was so tired couldn’t wait to hit the bed.
I was so smart too ;). I booked our hotel on the internet travel site, all ready for us to settle in. NOT!……………. Until we open the door to the 4 star review hotel. OMG I couldn’t sleep, can you say Motel. Wow never thought I be in a motel! Last time I use that service again! I couldn’t sleep and I didn’t. Well thank God there were only 4 hours left to Louisiana. Everyone else was knockout after sneaking the birds & dog in the room. ;) I was wishing I didn’t quit smoking cigarettes and slept maybe 1 hour. Well until 6am, rise an shine everyone to Louisiana and your new home we go. :) I not staying in this motel for another minute.

I Sure Missed Blogging!
What up Bloggerland?! I really missed blogging. This online journal help release stress/ Highly recommended by me Angelmom :) Added bonus Kids can just Google me one day :)
I’m in Louisiana now! I leave in a house on 3 acres in a very small town called Folsom. On www.villageofFolsom.com, I quote “the town of Folsom is a community well known for its flourishing plant nurseries and beautiful horse farms” and end it with “Again, we welcome you to the Village of Folsom and we hope our southern hospitality comforts you!”. Estimate population in July 2004 was 601, now there are 7 more. :) This has been a crazy adventure from the start. Well I can’t complain, I was on here crying cause Hubby didn’t have a job. He has a job now that pays him every week, Praise the Lord. See He he does answer your prayer! It’s not what I expected but We can eat, the Question now is :
Is Folsom ready for us? Or are we ready for Folsom?????? Hummmm
P.S. Have patience with me I’m dealing with Dial Up LOL
